Hello all!
As many of our seasons are winding down and the holidays are ramping up, I hope you have had plenty of opportunities to fill your freezers and memories this fall. The Laurel Mountain crew has been able to do both, for which we are incredibly grateful.
I’ll be brief, but I want to take a moment to fill you all in on the latest happenings with Laurel Mountain Outfitters. If you’ve been on the site lately, you may have noticed a few additions to the collections, and I would like to introduce a few.
Ape Canyon Outfitters – Hunting saddles and equipment. ACO has a long history of making gear for safety, rock climbing, and arborist industries, and best yet, they are made right here in Pennsylvania! I bought one of their saddles for myself* and after 25ish years of using traditional tree stands, I am excited to add saddles to the arsenal. I wish I had done it sooner since it opens up many more opportunities in the woods.
*(someone should have warned me starting a sporting goods shop would become so costly… I am by far my biggest customer)
Walton Rods - Fly fishing rods and reels. Walton Rods is a fellow veteran-owned company that builds quality fly rods in the USA with an outstanding following and warranty to match. Walton also offers beautiful, fully CNC machined reels (made in Canada) to complement their fly rods.
